OUR PASSION
It all started with a love for design, and the beauty of personal expression. Now, years later, we’re still crafting, designing, and packing each order with care (and probably a little classic rock music playing in the background).
MEET THE TEAM
We're Sabine and Gary, two creatives with a passion for design, and the creative forces behind MANDEKO.
When we're not busy being creative we love to go windsurfing and camping. Sabine really "digs" (get it?) gardening, and Gary plays keyboards in a classic rock band.
Sabine
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Sabine is an occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience using creative methods such as drawing, sculpture and handmade games to connect with patients with dementia and mental illness .
Gary
ART DIRECTOR
Gary studied graphic design and photography at the renowned Institute of Design in Chicago. After working in the sign business, Gary has been working as a freelance graphic designer, photographer and web designer.
Ruby
THE REAL BOSS
Of course, we have a mascot!
"Ruby" is our 7 year old Tibetan Terrier and is responsible for keeping the office free of cookie crumbs, and making sure that all office visitors get a proper doggie welcome!
